Creating is my happy place. Either its cooking, photography, styling and beyond... its the only thing that makes me forget about the problems, the bad, the sad. ⁠
Just being in the moment, in my own world. Not thinking if people going to like it, but doing it for myself. And I think this is when we create the most beautiful work!⁠

In today's world is hard to disconnect from our phones, social media, others' opinions, but when we take the time for ourselves and what we love doing, it reminds us that we are capable of much more. It all matters how we use time, how we spend every hour, day, month...⁠
Do you feel guilty of wasting time on things that maybe are not as important, and thinking, I could've done this or that instead? ⁠
I've done that, many times, we all do! But as long as we acknowledge that and try to change and do better, we'll grow and learn and be more aware of how we use our time.⁠

Today I'm on my way to the wine country with my girlfriends for my birthday weekend🎉!! I can't be more excited about spending some time away from the city and just taking it slowly. We'll be doing lots of self-care, hot springs, massages, wineries, and walks in nature. ⁠

Hello Insta friends!
It has been a while since I showed up on your feed, hasn't it? Well, sometimes life can surprise us, and shake us up without a notice... I had lots of personal changes that affected me and how I see life. During those months I needed to rethink what is important to me and what I need to do to be fulfilled. Being in a place of peace and clarity is an important step for finding happiness within ourselves.
I am still at a place of rebuilding myself, but I am stronger than ever and determined to push and grow and be uncomfortable because I know that comfort will not take me to the next step or progress as a creative!
For a while, I feel like I didn’t take the chance to build the future I envisioned and now I’m more than ready to take those steps.
For the first time in months, a few days ago I did a photoshoot and I remembered how much I enjoy it. And it’s the only time I can forget about everything else but being in the moment.
Before I had more time, but I couldn’t organize myself, I knew deep down that I’m not completely happy with where I was. This time around I don’t have as much free time as I use to, but I am more organized than before. I knew that if I want to make this dream of mine successful, I need some help figuring out and structuring my business.
To do that I decided to sign up for @evakosmasflores creative business course and build a clear, organized and successful business. I think she is amazing at what she does and what she has accomplished in her life. She is the perfect mentor and creative I feel like I can learn from and be inspired by to keep going. So, Eva, let’s do this🙌!!
I know it will take me some time to get it going but I am more than excited and ready to make it work!

Sweet potato cupcakes in the process of perfecting the recipe. First batch was delicious, perfect texture, melt in your mouth, but wasn't quite happy with the frosting. One more try before I share the recipe.
Today it really feels like fall. The fresh, chill air. The layers of clothes I had to put on to stay warm. But the bit of sunshine keeps my energy up and going.

I've been a little quiet around here and haven't post in a while. But I didn't really had the time to do so. Some things are just more important than IG😉. I've been busy with work and started school again, but also been doing a lot of research about finances, investing and things like that. A very new information for me, but I think very important.
